Rising 5 year old, 15.1 Rhinelander mare for sale. Gigi is a wonderful prospect for eventing, dressage, you name it! She has a lovely start, and is a pleasure to handle and train. Just getting going under saddle and is already impressing us with her jumping ability on the longe line! She is brave, sensible, and easy to handle.
Pedigree
Gigi is registered Rhinelander and by the well-known stallion Gallant Reflection who was ridden up to Prix St Georges dressage by Lisa Wilcox, and also has Grand Prix dressage in his pedigree through Rohdiamand/Rubinstein I. On his sire’s side, Apache D’Adriers brings 1.60m jumper talent to the mix.
Gigi’s dam is Ursula (EV Allora), is similarly well bred, by KWPN sire Otto Prins. Ursula competed in showjumping up to 1.60m.
Personality
Brave, sensible and athletic, Gigi may be young but she is already showing us her trainability and easy to handle personality. Quick to pick up new tasks, she’s easy for the farrier, trailers like a dream and adores her grooming sessions.
*Gigi has been started this year - her training will continue at an appropriate rate for her age, and her price will increase as she gains experience: She’s a steal for an experienced rider or trainer right now.
Purpose
Her movement is rhythmical and floaty, and while we feel she would make a lovely dressage horse, she has a talent for jumping we cannot deny. On the lunge she has shown her willingness, bravery, athletic ability and nimble footwork.
We feel she could compete in dressage, jumpers or eventing and do well. She’s ready to show you what she can do!
